With a 45-year track record working with the Bay Area’s top designers on large commercial woodworking projects, Lewis returned to his roots as a master craftsman in 2017 and founded Myra Studio.

He is a pioneer in the use of ecologically harvested wood products and has family roots in mid-century modern furniture design. Lewis is usually accompanied by his four-legged friend, Tony.

Amy is the consummate client advocate. She brings years of experience at a national architecture firm designing and managing large healthcare projects. This informs her ability to ensure that her clients are well cared for and that her projects are completed with attention to detail and professionalism. 

When she is not managing woodworking projects she can often be found working on pottery at the local clay studio. 

With over twenty five years of cabinetry experience, Chris is a walking treasure chest of tips and tricks and dry humour.

And… he’s a man of many talents:

Taught himself to play bass guitar

Instilled musicianship in his two college-age sons

Learned to run white water in his 1-man pontoon boat

Installed a high-performance engine in his old Toyota pickup truck

And, with his wife Susan, catches most of the Dead shows.

Deion’s four years at Myra have flown by.

Then, a high school kid learning to clean up the shop, to now, a true journeyman cabinetmaker.

Deion is the big brother to his siblings that we all would have wanted.

And he recently installed new kitchen cabinets for his mom— solo.

He has become the go-to in our shop for remembering tricky details.

Simply put— he’s as sharp as his chisels.

Drawing on his roots as a German Shepherd and Boxer, Tony the Shop Dog excels at catching a ball thrown at maximum speed. He has decent eye to paw coordination and greets all visitors enthusiastically.

Aiden started with Myra as a high school intern and has become an important part of the team.

He has a can-do attitude and will figure out how to fix almost anything.

Before working at Myra he started making custom bass lures for his fishing passion.

He hopes to become a professional bass fisherman (he already wins tournaments)

and being a cabinetmaker is his strong second.

We intend to make him into a fine craftsman.
